Regency Furniture: Order Management Portal

Customers had no idea how to access order status online.

Challenge

Existing website was operating on Shopify, which did not allow for custom development of unique features.  Existing internal systems for order management had no API capabilities, therefore no way to utilize data for public consumption.

Proposal

Develop an internal API utilizing open-source technologies that leverage and expose data stored in their internal SQL Server database. Craft a custom UI/UX for an order status system. Build the system on a separate instance and embed on the existing Shopify Site.

Thinking of Regency's users in mind, we helped their team by delivering designs that stayed within Regency's current branding, but also ensured their users would have all the information they needed to track their orders throughout the shipping and fulfillment process.
